Welcome to FlexKey Rentals. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, vehicle rental services, rental inquiries, reservations, waitlists, and related offerings. By accessing this website, submitting information, requesting a vehicle, joining a waitlist, or renting a vehicle from FlexKey Rentals, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. ABOUT FLEXKEY RENTALS

FlexKey Rentals provides flexible vehicle rental solutions designed to support personal transportation, commuting, temporary transportation needs, business use, and income-generating activities where permitted. Our mission is simple: transportation should not stand between you and opportunity. Vehicle availability, rental approval, pricing, rental terms, and service offerings are subject to change based on inventory, operational requirements, and business needs.

2. RENTAL ELIGIBILITY

To rent a vehicle from FlexKey Rentals, applicants will be required to: Possess a valid driver's license, meet minimum age requirements, provide proof of identity, and provide proof of residence. As well as meet insurance requirements, meet acceptable driving record standards, and complete any required verification or screening process. FlexKey Rentals reserves the right to approve or deny any rental request at its sole discretion and in accordance with applicable laws.

3. VEHICLE AVAILABILITY

Vehicle inventory is limited, and availability is not guaranteed. Submission of an inquiry, reservation request, waitlist form, or rental application does not guarantee vehicle availability or rental approval. Reservations are not confirmed until approved by FlexKey Rentals and acknowledged in writing. FlexKey Rentals reserves the right to cancel, modify, or decline any reservation request due to vehicle availability, maintenance requirements, operational needs, or eligibility concerns.

4. RENTAL AGREEMENT REQUIREMENT

All vehicle rentals require the execution of a separate written Rental Agreement. The Rental Agreement will govern: Rental rates, Security deposits, Payment schedules, Authorized driver(s), Vehicle usage restrictions, Insurance requirements, Mileage allowances, Maintenance responsibilities, Vehicle return conditions, Damage responsibility, Late fees, and penalties. In the event of any conflict between these Terms of Service and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement shall control.

5. AUTHORIZED USE

Vehicles may only be operated by drivers authorized and approved by FlexKey Rentals. Renters agree to operate vehicles safely, responsibly, and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Unauthorized drivers are strictly prohibited. Any unauthorized use will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement and recovery of the vehicle.

6. PROHIBITED USES

Vehicles may not be used for: Illegal activities, Racing, speed contests, or reckless driving, Off-road driving, Towing unless specifically authorized, transporting hazardous materials, transporting illegal substances, subleasing or lending the vehicle to others, Commercial activities not approved by FlexKey Rentals, or any activity prohibited by law or the Rental Agreement. FlexKey Rentals reserves the right to restrict or prohibit specific uses at its discretion.

7. PAYMENTS, DEPOSITS, AND FEES

Rental rates, deposits, fees, and payment schedules will be disclosed before rental commencement. Failure to make timely payments will result in: Late fees, Suspension of rental privileges, Vehicle recovery actions, Termination of the Rental Agreement, and Collection efforts as permitted by law. Security deposits may be used to cover unpaid charges, damages, fees, tolls, violations, or other amounts owed under the Rental Agreement.

8. TOLLS, TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS, AND ADMINISTRATIVE FEES

Renters are solely responsible for all toll charges, parking fees, traffic citations, moving violations, red-light camera violations, speed camera violations, towing fees, impound fees, and related administrative costs incurred during the rental period. If FlexKey Rentals receives notice of unpaid tolls, citations, fees, or violations after the vehicle has been returned, the renter authorizes FlexKey Rentals to charge the payment method on file for the amount owed, including any applicable administrative processing fees. Failure to pay tolls, citations, or related fees may result in suspension of future rental privileges and collection actions as permitted by law.

9. GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTIONS AND OUT-OF-STATE TRAVEL

Vehicles rented through FlexKey Rentals are authorized for operation within the State of Illinois only unless prior written approval is obtained from FlexKey Rentals. Out-of-state travel is strictly prohibited without advance written authorization. Unauthorized out-of-state travel may result in: Immediate termination of the Rental Agreement, Additional fees and penalties, Suspension of future rental privileges, Vehicle recovery actions, Charges related to vehicle retrieval, towing, transportation, mileage, or recovery costs. Renters must notify FlexKey Rentals before any anticipated travel outside Illinois. Approval for out-of-state travel may be granted on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to additional requirements, fees, insurance provisions, or restrictions.

10. INSURANCE AND RESPONSIBILITY

Renters are responsible for complying with all insurance requirements established by FlexKey Rentals. Renters may be responsible for: Vehicle damage, Collision losses, Theft-related losses, Insurance deductibles, Towing expenses, Storage fees, Administrative fees, Loss-of-use charges, Traffic violations, Toll charges, and Other expenses arising from vehicle use. Specific responsibilities will be outlined in the Rental Agreement.

11. COMMUNICATIONS CONSENT

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications from FlexKey Rentals by Phone call, Text message (SMS), and email. Communications may include: Rental inquiries, Reservation updates, Vehicle availability, Billing matters, Service notifications, Company announcements, Promotional offers. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

12. WEBSITE INFORMATION

Information presented on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. While FlexKey Rentals strives to maintain accurate and current information, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, availability, or reliability of any content, pricing, vehicle descriptions, or service offerings.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlexKey Rentals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from: Website use, Rental inquiries, Vehicle availability, Service interruptions, Delays, Loss of income, Business interruptions, or Missed opportunities. Any liability shall be limited to amounts paid directly to FlexKey Rentals for the applicable rental transaction.

14. PRIVACY

Information collected through this website, rental inquiries, applications, and rental transactions will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. FlexKey Rentals will not sell personal information to third parties except as required by law or necessary to provide services.

15. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

FlexKey Rentals reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time.
